Ingredients

  • 4 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1-1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cup dried cranberries

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Mix oats, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, almonds in a 15X10 baking pan.

In a saucepan warm the oil and honey. Whisk in vanilla. Evenly pour over oats mixture. Stir well with a wooden spoon.

Bake 40 minutes; stirring every 10 minutes.

Cool completely. Stir in cranberries.

Store in airtight container. Keeps at room temperature 1 week; freezer 3 months. (Although I've never froze it).
