Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup shortening
• 1/4 cup butter, soft
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 3/4 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp salt

Step 1

Cream first 6 ingredients until light and creamy. Combine dry ingredients. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet until combined. At this point you can add a little milk about 1 tsp at a time for right consistently. (this depends all on weather and altitude).

Spoon onto greased cookie sheets. Flatten with bottom of glass. Criss/Cross a fork on cookies and sprinkle with sugar.

Bale 375' fpr 10-12 minutes.
