Ingredients
- Decorating Frosting:
- 2 1/4 C flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/2 t bakng soda
- 1/2 t nutmeg
- 1 t ground cloves
- 1 1/4 t ginger
- 1 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1/2 C butter
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/2 C molasses(dark)
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- 1 1/4 C 10x sugar
- 1/4 t cream of tartar
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 t vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cloves, ginger & cinnamon.
Cream butter with sugar & molasses until fluffy.
Beat in egg yolk, then add flour mixture.
Roll out dough 1/4" thick.
Cut with cookie cutter & bake at 350* for approximately 12-15 minutes.
Frosting:
Mix ingredients together & beat with mixer on high 5 minutes.
