Mini Kisses Peanut Blossoms

Ingredients

• 1/2 C shortening
• 3/4 C peanut butter
• 1/3 C sugar
• 1/3 C packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 T milk
• 1 t vanilla
• 1 1/2 C flour
• 1 t baking soda
• 1/2 t salt
• additional sugar
• 1 3/4 C ( 10oz) hershey mini kisses

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375*.
Beat shortening & peanut butter in large bowl until well blended.
Add 1/3 C sugar & brown sugar; beat until fluffy.
Add egg, milk & vanilla; beat well.
Combine flour, baking soda & salt; gradually add to peanut butter mixture, beating until well blended.
Shape dough into 1" balls.
Roll in sugar & place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Place 3 mini kisses on each cookie, pressing down lightly.
Remove from sheet & cool.
