Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp. orange juice
  • 5 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. white wine or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp. orange zest
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. coriander seed, crushed
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 12 chicken wings

Step 1

In a large bowl mix together all ingredients except chicken wings. Add wings to bowl; cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Line a small roasting pan with aluminum foil. Transfer wings and glaze mixture to pan, arranging wings so the thickest pieces are along the outer edges of the pan.
Bake for 50 - 60 minutes at 375 degrees, basting frequently with glaze, until chicken juices run clear. If glaze is still very liquid at the end of the baking time, pour it off and simmer on stove until thickened.
Spoon glaze over wings; continue baking for additional 10 minutes.
Wings may be served hot or cold - garnish with thin strips of orange zest or orange section or fresh mint.
