Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. butter, divided
- 1/2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb. scallops
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 ribs celery, sliced
- 1 tbsp. fresh thyme
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
In skillet, melt 1 tbsp. butter. Add shrimp and scallops; cook until opaque. Remove. In same skillet melt remaining butter over medium heat. Add onion, celery and thyme; cook until tender; 10 minutes. Add red bell pepper; cook until crisp - 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil. Add shrimp and scallops; heat through.
