Butter Cookies

• 3/4 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg, beaten
• 2 tbsp. evaporated milk
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 3 cups flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Blend together butter, sugar, egg, evaporated milk and vanilla; mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to 1/4" thick. Cut out with cookie cutter; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, just until golden.
