Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Pillsbury white Cake Mix
  • 2 C boiling water
  • 1 (16oz) can pillsbury vanilla frosting supreme
  • 1 ( 4- serving) pkg jello (any red flavor)
  • 1 ( 4- serving) pkg jello( lime flavor)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350*.
Prepare, bake & cool cake mix as directed on package for 2 - 9" round cake layers.
Place cake layers,top sides up, in 2 - 9" round cake pans.
Poke cake with large at 1/2 " intervals.
Stir 1 C of boiling water into each flavor of gelatin in separate bowls for 2 mins or until dissolved.
Carefully pour red gelatin over 1 cake layer & lime gelatin over the second layer.
Refrigerate 3 hrs.
Dip 1 cake pan in warm water seconds, unmold onto serving plate.
Spread with about 1/4 of the frosting.
Unmold second cake layer; carefully place top side up on first layer.
Frost top & sides of cake with remainiing frosting.
Refrigerate1 hr or until ready to serve.
