Ice Cream Cake

This chocolate cake recipe is what we used for an awesome treat -- simply slice the cake lengthwise and fill with vanilla ice and freeze. I like to cut individual servings then freeze them so one can enjoy this one serving at a time. Top it with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, nuts and a cherry.

Ingredients

• Mix the following in a large bowl:
• 3 cups flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. salt
• 3 tbsp. cocoa
• Make 3 wells and in a small bowl mix and stir:
• 2/3 cup oil
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 tbsp. vinegar
• Mix lightly and pour 2 cups water over mixture. Beat.

Bake in 13x9 at 350 for 45 minutes.
