Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. lemon extract
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- Garnish: additional sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Combine butter, sugar and extract; beat in eggs. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture. Roll out onto a lightly floured surface, about 1/8" thick. Cut with cookie cutter and place a lightly greased cookie sheet, one inch apart. Sprinkle lightly with sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden.
