Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp. house seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. chicken bouillon
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen lima beans
  • 6 slices bacon, cut into tiny pieces
  • 10 oz. can corn
  • 1/4 stick butter (2 tbsp.)
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In medium saucepan, add house seasoning,seasoned salt,and bouillon to 2 cups water. Add butter beans and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover, and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes, until butter beans are tender. In medium skillet, saute bacon until very crisp. Drain off all except 1 tbsp. of grease. Add corn to skillet with bacon pieces. With slotted spoon, add butter beans to the skillet. Add a little of the butter bean liquid to create a sauce. Add the butter and pepper. Stir well and serve.
