Ingredients

  • ♦ 3 avocados – peeled, pitted, and mashed (Need help doing this? Check here!)
  • ♦ 1 lime, juiced
  • ♦ 1 teaspoon salt
  • ♦ 1/2 cup diced onion
  • ♦ 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • ♦ 2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
  • ♦ 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ♦ 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic. Stir in cayenne pepper. Refrigerate 1 hour for best flavor, or serve immediately.  (Recipe taken from www.allrecipes.com)

I never ate avocado until last summer. I never ate guacamole until this summer!

I just always thought it was gross at mexican restaurants.

Now I make my own. I know what’s in it. I love it!

I can’t eat an avocado by itself (don’t like the texture), but I love guacamole! This is nice simple recipe, and I bet the kids would love to help me make (and eat) it. Thanks!

2 acocados, cumin and about 2 tbs of plain Greek yogurt.

Sea salt to taste. This is great on sandwiches or wraps

Instead of mayo , and gives a fresh taste. And added protein from

The yogurt.
