Cheryl & Jim's "Play" Chili

We "played" with combining a couple favorite recipes and came up with this one that is easy to do and delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small/medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin (more cumin may be added to taste)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (16 oz) stewed tomatoes
- 2 TBS cider vinegar (red wine vinegar or cider vinegar)
- 2 cans beans (your favorite variety)
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 beef bullion cube
- 1 "can" (16 oz) water
- Optional: For another "depth" of flavor you can add 1/4 cup red wine (dryer than sweet).

Preparation
Step 1
In a stew pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef. Add the onion and garlic and cook until tender (take care to not burn the garlic).
Add all ingredients, except the beans and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
Add the beans and simmer for another 20-30 minutes.
Note: This recipe is easily adapted to a crock pot / slow cooker. Just add the beans in the last hour or two before serving.
