Ingredients

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 3 avocados
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped fine
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1/4 pound cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • jalapeno chile peppers, optional
  • dash salt, pepper and garlic powder, each

Preparation

Step 1

Layer bottom of a 9 x 13 pan with refried beans.

Mash ripe avacados, lemon juice salt, pepper and a dash of garlic. Spread over refried beans.

Mix taco seasoning, sour cream and mayonnaise and spread over avocado mixture.

Sprinkle green onions and tomatoes over sour cream mixture.

Spread grated cheese over top.

Chill overnight.
