Preparation
Step 1
Heat 2 cups milk for 2 to 3 minutes in the microwave, or on the stovetop until steaming hot, but not boiling.
Add the Matcha Frappe powder and whisk. Let steep for about 5 minutes.
While the tea is steeping, add the cornstarch to a sauce pan.
Pour about 1 cup of the tea infused milk through a fine sieve into a sauce pan.*
Whisk together the cornstarch and tea infused milk to break up the cornstarch.
Add the remaining milk, condensed milk and vanilla. Place over medium-low heat and continue to stir until the pudding comes to a low boil. Stir for 1 minute.*
Remove from the heat and add the white chocolate. Keep stirring until chocolate has melted.
Pour into pudding cups.
Let cool, sprinkle with matcha powder, then refrigerate. Serve cold.
