Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

This is a dessert cheese ball. Can be served as an appetizer - always a hit. I like to mix the chocolate chips into the cheese mixture, then roll in pecans.

Ingredients

• 1-8 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 3/4 cup powdered sugar
• 2 tbs brown sugar
• 1/4 tsp vanilla
• 3/4 cup miniature chocolate chips
• 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
• chocolate graham crackers

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Shape chilled mixture into a ball.

Wrap with plastic, chill in fridge for 1 hour.

Roll cheese ball in chopped pecans before serving.

Serve with graham crackers or chocolate wafers.
