Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup curd
  • 4 cardamom cloves
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp garlic, ginger paste
  • 1 big onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 red chilli
  • ginger, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the curd and salt, rub to the chicken and keep aside for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pot, add bay leaf, cumin seeds and cardamom. When the seeds splutter, add ginger and garlic paste and saute for a short time.

Add onions and saute till brown.

Add chicken into pot together with coriander powder, chilli powder and turmeric powder.

When chicken is done, add tomato, chopped ginger and red chilli.

Stir fry till the chicken is coated with masala.
