- 2 C sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 C flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 C butter
- 1 C sour cream
- 2 tsp soda
- 3/4 C cocoa
- 1 C boiling water
- FROSTING
- 12 oz pkg chocolate chips (melted)
- 1 C softened butter (not over oven)
- 2 unbeaten eggs
- FILLING (optional)
- 1 jar preserves
- whipping cream
- 8-oz cream cheese
- powdered sugar

Preparation
Step 1
cream sugar & butter lightly
add eggs & sour cream
mix flour, salt, soda & cocoa & add
add vanilla, & boiling water (will be
runny)
bake abt. 30 min @350
frost when cold
FROSTING
beat all ingredients together, will be
runny
refrigerate if necessary to right
consistency (stiring)
FILING (optional)
beat the ingredients together
USE FILLING WHEN MAKING CAKE AS LAYER
CAKE - BETWEEN LAYERS
MAKES ONE LARGE SHEET CAKE, 30 CUPCAKES
OR 2-3 CAKE LAYERS
USE 1/2 FROSTING FOR CUPCAKES
