Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 6 pork chops
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 3/4 cups ketchup
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Liquid Barbecue Smoke®
- 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed

Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Season chops with salt and pepper and brown on both sides in skillet. In a medium bowl, combine ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and Liquid Smoke. Place onions and garlic in slow cooker. Dip browned pork chops in sauce mixture and place on onions. Pour remaining
sauce over chops. Cover. Cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Oven-roasted, cut-up root vegetables (choose from turnips, parsnips, or carrots) and
steamed green beans.
