Pound Cake

This is an old recipe shared by the Wilken family - they were making whiskey since 1886.

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 2/3 cups sugar
• 5 eggs
• 2 cups flour
• pinch of salt
• 2 tbsp. Wilken Family Whiskey

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, giving it a good, quick beating after each is added. Add flour and salt. Add whiskey and mix well. Pour into a greased tube pan. Bake at 325 about 1 hour.
