Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 28 oz canned crushed tomatoes
  • 18 oz canned tomato sauce
  • 2 cups park skim ricotta
  • 2 cups low moisture, part skim shredded mozzarella
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 4 tbsp reduced fat Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 lb uncooked ground turkey (or lean ground beef)

Step 1

Brown ground turkey. Drain any fat. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce (except for 1/4 cup) and oregano. Cook until bubbly. Put 1/4 cup reserved tomato sauce in slow cooker pan. Break apart noodles to fit in your slow cooker pan, Place 1/3 noodles in pan. Spread meat mixture, ricotta and mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with mozzarella.

Cook for 6 hours in slow cooker.
