TEXAS SHEET CAKE BROWNIES

• 2 c. sugar
• 2 c. flour
• 1 c. butter
• 4 tbsp. cocoa
• 2 eggs
• 1 c. water
• 1/2 c. buttermilk
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/2 c. butter
• 4 tbsp. cocoa
• 6 tbsp. milk
• Powdered sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• Nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Boil butter, cocoa and water in saucepan. Mix flour, sugar and soda in a separate bowl. Add cocoa mixture to dry ingredients, then add remaining ingredients. Pour into large cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 25 minutes.

Boil butter, cocoa and milk. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Frost immediately after removing from oven.
