Ingredients
- Non-aerosol cooking spray
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1/2 pound 95% lean ground beef
- 4 cups water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 ounces tomato paste
- 1 medium russet potato, peeled and diced

Preparation
Step 1
Coat a large saucepan with a tight-fitting lid with cooking spray; add onion and garlic and sauté until onion is golden brown. Remove from saucepan and set aside. Add beef to saucepan; brown and crumble until cooked through. Return cooked onion and garlic to saucepan and add water, bouillon cube, paprika, salt and tomato paste. Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 4 hours. Add potato and simmer for 15 minutes longer.
