Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 3 Potatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 1 1/2 cups Cabbage
  • 1 Leek (chopped)
  • 1 Onion (diced)
  • 2 Carrot (diced)
  • 1/4 cup Parsely (chopped)
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Caraway Seeds
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 pound Bacon (cooked and crumbled)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine chicken broth. potatoes, leeks, onion, carrots and parsley in a large bowl. Pour mixture into slow cooker. Stir in salt pepper, caraway seeds and bay leaf.

Cover and cook on Low 8-10 hours or on High for 4 to 5 hours. Remove and discard bay leaf. Combine some hot liquid from the slow cooker with the sour cream in a small bowl. Add mixture to slow cooker. Stir in bacon.
