Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 Tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1 12 or 16 ounce can refrigerated flaky biscuits
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted lightly (optional)
- 12 large or extra large foil muffin liners

Preparation
Step 1
• Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
• Melt butter or margarine in a small saucepan over low heat.
• Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl.
• Cut biscuits into fourths and add to sugar/ cinnamon mixture; toss to coat; set aside. (Note: Only add 6-8 biscuit quarters at one time to prevent them from sticking together before being coated.)
• Add brown sugar to butter and stir until sugar dissolves. Stir in vanilla and chopped nuts. Stir until blended.
• Arrange 3-4 coated biscuit pieces in each muffin cup.
• Drizzle the butter/ brown sugar/ nut mixture over the biscuits. Distribute evenly over each muffin cup.
• If desired, sprinkle some of the remaining sugar/ cinnamon mixture over each muffin cup.
• Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees or until brown. Serve immediately. Makes about 1 dozen.
