Cheese & Broccoli Soup

Ingredients

• 2 TBL chopped onion
• 1 TBL butter
• 1 C chicken broth
• 1 pkg (10-oz) frozen broccoli
• 1/2 C cooked long grain rice
• 1/4 C heavy whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

in sm. saucepan, cook onion in butter
until tender
stir in broth & broccoli w/ sauce
bring to boil
reduce het
simmer, uncovered for 4 min

add rice & cream
cook 3-4 min longer or until heated
through & broccolli is tender

DON NOT BOIL
