- 1 homeade pie crust
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups scalded milk
- 1 cup sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- nutmeg to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of lemon extract (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
A custard pie is custard mixture baked in a shortbread crust. Custard is a cooked mixture of milk or cream and eggs. Custard pie is a very rich and delicious dessert.
Preheat oven to 165 C (330 F).
Whip eggs and sugar until creamy. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well.
Pour filling into unbaked
