Ingredients
- CAJUN BUTTER:
- 3/4 C canola oil
- 1 med onion, finely chopped
- 2 TBL cajun seasoning
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp grd. cumin
- 1 tsp minced fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp minced fresh thyme
- 2 LB uncooked lg. shrimp, peeled &
- devined
- 1 C butter, cubed
- 1 tsp minced fresh basil
- 1 tsp minced fresh tarragon
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3 drops hot pepper sauce

Preparation
Step 1
in sm. bowl, combine first 7 ingredients
place shrimp in lg. resealable plastic
bag
add 1/2 of marinade
seal bag & turn to coat
refrig 1-2 hrs
cover & refrig remaining marinade for
basting
in sm. saucepan, combine cajun butter
ingredients
heat until butter melted
keep warm
drain & discard marinade from shrimp
thread shrimp onto 8 metal or soaked
wooden skewers
grill, uncovered, over med heat for
2-3 min on each side or until
shrimp turn pink, basting once w/
cajun butter
