Braised Beef with Mixed Vegetables

This is a zone meal. I have changed the quantities to equal 4 - 3 block meals. The breakdown per meal is 3 protein, 2 carbs, 3 fat.

Ingredients
- 12 oz. lean beef, small dice (12 protein)
- 3 cups onion, roughly chopped (2 carbs)
- 2 cups green beans, 2-inch pieces (2 carbs)
- 2 cups celery, roughly chopped (1 carb)
- 4 cups mushrooms, sliced (1 carb)
- 12 ounces beer (flat beer is acceptable) (2 carbs)
- 4 teaspoons olive oil (12 fat)
- 3/4 cup beef stock
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 2 teaspoons garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 25 to 30 minutes. Place each serving in a large soup bowl and serve.
