Super Muddy Buddies

Ingredients

• 9 cups of Chex cereal (any variety)
• 1 cup of Hershey's semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
• 1/2 cup of Reese's Creamy Peanut Butter
• 1/4 cup (1./2 stick) butter or margarine
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Place the cereal in a large bowl.

Place chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at high (100%) for 1 1/2 minutes or until mixture is smooth when stirred. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.

Pour the mixture into large plastic bag with powdered sugar; shake until all pieces are coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Add 3 cups of peanuts or pretzels to the cooled mixture, if desired. This will increase the results to 12 cups.
