Hot Milk Sponge Cake ***

This is Aunt Jeanette's recipe.

Ingredients

• Beat 4 large eggs till fluffy
• Add 2 cups sugar (beat)
• Add 2 cups flour
• pinch of salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• Heat 1 cup milk to boiling. Add 1 stick of butter,
• 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix into egg mixture.

Preparation

Step 1

Pour into 9 x 13 pan, bake 375 for 25-35 minutes. I have found it takes closer to 40 minutes.

When cake is cool sprinkle with 10X sugar.
