This is another recipe for cream pie. An alternative if the other one doesn't work.

Ingredients
- 2 9" deep pie shells
- 2 C sugar
- 1 Stick butter
- 5 TBS. corn starch
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 1 pint 1/2 & 1/2

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine heavy cream & 1/2 & 1/2, in a heavy sauce pan. Heat until warm. Add butter and melt.
2. Mix sugar and corn starch. When cream mixture is warm, mix dry ingredients. Stir slowly and constantly. Cook until thick.
3. Bake at 350 (time was not added in the recipe copy that I received. However, I'm guessing for about 45 to 50 min.)
