Ingredients
- Butter
- onion
- 1/4 c flour blend with 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cup half and half
- 2 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 lb broccoli
- 1 cup carrots
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 8 oz cheese, shredded

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion in tablespoon butter.
Add flour and butter to pan and saute over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes to create a roux.
Add half and half
Add chicken stock and simmer 20 minutes
Season with salt and pepper
Add cheese and stir in nutmeg
