Red Beans and Rice

Ingredients
- 3 bacon slices
- 2 a5oz cans Red Kidney beans, undrained
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 1/2 tea Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tea. chili powder
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 2 lbs. pre-cooked kielbasa (optional), sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 cups cook rice

Preparation
Step 1
Fry bacon and crumble into undrained beans. In bacon drippings, sauté' onions, celery, and green pepper until wilted but not brown. Add beans and remaining ingredients except sausage and rice. Cover and simmer 30-45 minutes.
Add sausage and heat through.
Serve red beans over hot rice.
