Five Minute Chocolate Nutella Cake for Two
By srumbel
This cake is fool-proof and takes five minutes from start to finish to make.
Believe me, I would not judge eating this chocolatey, Nutella-ey, ooey-gooey cake all by oneself. It is certainly possible. But add a big scoop of melty ice cream on top and that’s a whole lot of treat we are talking about. Perfect to share (in bed). C’mon, we are talking about Valentine’s Day here! I even used pedestrian utensils to whip up this dessert. A simple fork stirs together the dry ingredients with the wet. Dump the batter into a mug (or in my case a soup bowl), microwave for 75 – 90 seconds and done! The Nutella provides a hot and sticky center to the cake, and I doubled down on the hazelnut flavor by using hazelnut ice cream. But any flavor of ice cream will do. Top with sprinkles and you’ve got a dessert to share with your love.
