Ingredients
- 2 TBS Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp dry sherry
- 2 tsp Hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp chile paste with garlic
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp peanut oil
- 1 TBS minced peeled fresh ginger
- 1 TBS minced fresh garlic
- 1 lb sirloin steak (lean), thinly sliced across the grain
- 16 medium green onions, cut into 2" pieces
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine first 8 ingredients, stirring until smooth.
2. Heat peanut oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced ginger, minced garlic, and beef; sauté for 2 minutes or until beef is browned. Add green onions, sauté 30 seconds. Add soy sauce mixture, cook an additional 1 minute or until thick, stirring constantly.
Makes 4 servings. One serving = 4 Weight Watchers points.
