Ingredients

  • 1 lemon supreme cake mix
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 lb candied red cherries
  • 1 lb canned pineapple
  • 4 cups chopped nuts
  • 1 cup unsifted self rising flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, add eggs, add cake mix; mix well-do this with a mixer. In another large bowl mix chopped fruit and nuts with the 1 cup self rising flour. Then mix the two by hand. Bake in tube pan at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. 300 degrees for 1 hour. 275 degrees for 15 minutes.
