Ingredients
- 1 lb. Italian sausage crumbled
- 1 lb. ground beef crumbled
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 30 oz. pizza sauce
- 12 sub or hoagie buns
- mozzarella cheese shredded

Preparation
Step 1
Brown the sausage and beef together until no longer pink. Drain fat. Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasong and pepper flakes to the pizza sauce and stir to combine. Add the meat and sauce together in a slow cooker and stir. Cook on low for 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut buns in halve lengthwise. Pull a small amount of bread out of bottom piece of bun to make a bowl for the meat. Fill with meat, top meat with mozzarella and top with the top of bun. Wrap in foil and bake in oven for 15 min.
