Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 12 whole grain English muffins, split
  • 12 turkey sausage patties, cooked and well drained
  • 12 slices low fat Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the eggs as desired in a large skillet using the butter. Make sandwiches with the English muffins, cooked sausage patties, cheese and cooked eggs; cool in the refrigerator then wrap each in a microwave-safe paper towel and freeze. Package them in zipper-topped freezer bags.
To heat, slightly unwrap the paper towel and microwave on HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the sandwich is hot.
