Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or regular milk)
- 3 teaspoons honey (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- A few grinds of freshly ground black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Pour almond milk in a small saucepan and set over medium heat. Add honey, coconut oil, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon and black pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer, whisking often to prevent burning. Taste, adding more honey or spice to suit your palate. Remove from heat, and let sit for 5 minutes to allow flavors to marry. Strain and serve.
Makes 3 servings.
