Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 lb. ground veal
- 3/4 cup large curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup dry unseasoned bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup dry red wine ( sub)
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Cornichons
- Coarse grain mustard

Mix all ingredients except cornichons and coarse grain mustard; pack mixture evenly in 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Place meat loaf on cooking grate and cook about 60 minutes, or until meat thermometer inserted in center of meat loaf registers 160. Let meat loaf stand in pan 15 minutes; drain juices and invert onto serving plate. Serve with cornichons and mustard.
