- 1 LARGE CAN CLAMS DRAINED
- 2 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
- 1 TABLESPOON BUTTER
- 1/2 CUP MINCED ONION
- 1/4 CUP CHOPPED GREEN BELL PEPPER
- 2 CLOVES GARLIC, MINCED
- 1 CUP BREAD CRUMBS (I USE CORN FLAKE
- CRUMBS)
- 1/4 CUP BACON
- 1/2 TEASPOON DRIED OREGANO
- 2 TABLESPOONS GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
- 2 TEASPOONS DRIED PARSLEY
- 1/4 TEASPOON PAPRIKA

Step 1
ADD 2 TABLESPOONS OIL AND BUTTER TO A SMALL SKILLET. ADD ONIONS, PEPPERS AND GARLIC AND SAUTE' UNTIL TENDER. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND COOL.
IN A MEDIUM BOWL, COMBINE 1/2 CRUMBS, BACON, OREGANO, CHEESE. ADD SAUTED VEGETABLES AND CHOPPED CLAMS. MIX WELL. SPRAY COOKING OIL ON BAKING SHELLS OR CASSEROLE DISHES. FILL WITH MIXTURE AND PLACE ON BAKING SHEET. TOP WITH REST OF CRUMBS, SPRINKLE GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE AND PAPRIKA OVER CRUMBS. BAKE 400 DEGREES 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL HEATED THROUGH.
