  • 2 1/2 C Unsalted Butter, room temp
  • 5 C Powdered Sugar
  • 2/3 C Cocoa
  • 1 Tbs Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
  • 3 Tbs lukewarm water

Preparation

Step 1

Beat butter until smooth in a stand mixer with paddle, approximately 3 minutes. With motor running, add sugar one cup at a time, incorporating each cup.

Stop the machine and add the cocoa, vanilla and salt. Paddle on low-medium until smooth (about 2 minutes). Add water and paddle until light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes.
