Mrs. B.'s Tea Cakes

This makes a tasty cookie that isn't real sweet. You can add chocolate between two cookies for an extra delicious treat. This is a recipe my late mother-in-law made that was a huge hit with everyone.

Preparation
Step 1
Add all ingredients to mixing bowl, beginning with eggs. Beat mixer on low to incorporate all ingredients. Scrape down sides of the bowl and mix on 1st and 2nd speed for just a few seconds making sure everything is blended. Don't over beat.
Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Taking half of the chilled mixture, turn out onto floured surface and roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out shapes with cookie cutter. Place cookies on parchment paper covered baking sheet and place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Take cookies from freezer and place in preheated 350 degree oven for 11 minutes. Place on cookie rack to cool and repeat with second half of mixture.
This recipe can make up to 48 cookies depending on the size you make them.
