Ingredients
- Ice cream:
- 1 3-lb coffee can with lid
- 1 1-lb coffee can with lid
- rock salt
- crushed ice
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 t vanilla
- 1/2 t peppermint extract
- red food coloring
- 3 T crushed peppermint stick

Preparation
Step 1
Place 1-lb coffee can in center of 3-lb coffee can. Fill 1-lb can with ice cream ingredients. Layer rock salt and crushed ice around 1-lb can, inside 3-lb can. Cover both with lids. Roll cans for about 15 minutes, or until ice cream is at correct consistency.
