SPICED NUTS & CHEX MIX

Ingredients

• 1/4 C sugar
• 1 TBL chili powder
• 1/4 tsp grd. cayenne
• 1/4 C butter
• 2 C corn chex cereal
• 2 C rice Chex cereal
• 2 C wheat chex cereal
• 1 can (11.5-oz) mixed nuts

Preparation

Step 1

in sm. bowl, mix sugar, chili powder &
red pepper
set aside

in lg. microwavable bowl, microwave
butter uncovered on high 40 sec. or
until melted
stir in cereal & nuts until evenly coated
stir in sugar mixture until evenly coated

microwave, uncovered on high 5-6 min,
stirring after 2 min until mixture
just begins to turn brown
spread on waxed paper to cool
store in airtight container
