- 2 T canola oil
- 1 1/2 T butter
- chopped garlic, amount to your liking

This is the important step.
Heat a jelly roll pan at 450 while you are cutting up the potatoes.
Cut the potatoes thinly the size of French fries. Try to make them uniform. Coat with the canola oil using your hands to get it all over.
Take the hot hot pan out of the oven and place the fries on it. They will sizzle. Bake for 5 min at the 450 then set to broil. They won't burn if you have the fries down low in the oven. Broil 20 min with a stir in between half way. Saute some garlic and the butter just for a minute or so. take out the potatoes, use salt and pepper and chopped up parsley, then cover with the garlic butter. Stir up and YUM!!!
