Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar ( save 2 Tbsp)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together and spread evenly in a 13*9 pan:

1 yellow cake mix
1 stick butter (melted)
1 egg

Mix and press down firmly onto bottom and sides of pan.

Next, beat with electric mixer:

1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar ( save 2 Tbsp)
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Batter will be a little lumpy. Pour batter into bottom layer.

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until brown. DO NOT OVER BAKE.

Sprinkle the 2 Tbsp pf powdered sugar over the top of the cake after it has baked.
