Ingredients
- 3/4 cups shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups sifted flour or 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream or 1 cup sour milk

Step 1
Crean together the shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add alternately with the dry ingredients the vanilla and sour cream. Mix well. Drop from a tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10/15 min. Allow enough room between cookies for them to spread. Frost on flat side when cool.
