Extraordinary Chocolate Chip Cookies!!

These cookies look like you bought them at a bakery! They are divine!

Ingredients
- 1 cup Crisco
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbls vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 24oz bag semisweet chocolate chips (4 cups)
- *I add a 1/2 tsp of butter flavor
- *If you wish to add nuts, stir in 1-2 cups of coarsely chopped nuts with the chips.

Step 1
Heat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, cream Crisco, butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs on medium speed until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes). Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dought will be stiff). Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls, or #40 cookie scoop, 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly.
Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove to cooling rack.
Note: Line baking sheets with parchment paper and cookies are easier to remove and don't spead as much. You can reuse parchment until it becomes stiff.
Variation: Change vanilla to 2 tsp, add 1 tsp almond extract, one 12oz bag peanut butter chips, and one 12oz bag white chips.
